Presentation Evening
New Milton Eagles Presentation Evening 2008
More than 250 players and parents attended New Milton Eagles Presentation night at Hoburne Bashley.
On hand to present all the awards was AFC Bournemouth and welsh under 21 striker Sam Vokes. Sam gave out awards to all players from teams aged from under 7 to under 16 years old including the Girls squad as well as special awards for outstanding achievements within each age group. Pride of place went to the new under 7’s squad managed by Mitch Hill who arrived victorious from a tournament that same day held in Burton. It was the teams first Tournament and to walk away as winners was a great achievement.

Also honoured were the clubs group of young qualified referees who provide an invaluable service both to Eagles and to other local clubs. The scheme to fund young people through courses to become referees is something Eagles are very proud of. The most recent successful candidates are Alex Derham, Daniel Hunt, James Vibert and George Boultwood who join Kieran Kentish and Blake Vincent who qualified last year.

The evening was rounded off by a disco and a great time was had by all.
